Pre-care before braiding
- There are three things recommend before braiding or having a box braids. First, make sure to moisturize and detangle your hair before you get attachments.
- It is always important to preserve edges. Talk to hairstylist about how much pressure they use when attaching hair around the edges.
- It is always better to braid with ease or simply just not a lot of pressure when protecting hair around the edges.

We love to have braids, either during the winter for some extra body warmth or during the summer to make pool and beach trips easier. When we simply get tired of doing our own hair. In addition, when we have carried them for 6-8 weeks and we are ready to take them down, we know what to do.
